How does one create a fade-effect in the slideshow?

The following post explains how to do so in JA Uber:
    https://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/acm-slideshow-fade-inout-effect/

Can someone explain any specific differences in the solution for JA Elicyon?

This link from the slideshow developer also provides part of the solution:
    http://www.owlcarousel.owlgraphic.com/demos/animate.html

Where is " animateOut: ‘fadeOut’ " supposed to be added? A file?

In which folder should "animate.css" be located? Is says header, is that the root folder or the template folder?

In Step #3, where should the " $(‘.custom1’).owlCarousel({ " be set?

    Hi,

You can find the Slideshow of JA ACM module on JA Elicyon template from both files

    templates/ja_elicyon/acm/slideshow/tmpl/style-product.php
    templates/ja_elicyon/acm/slideshow/tmpl/style-owl.php

Hi Ninja, Following the demo slideshow, it seems "style-owl.php" is the correct file to edit.

Can you provide exact instructions on what code should be added/replaced to activate fade-in?

Plus, should the file "animate.css" be uploaded? If so, to which folder location?

    Kind regards

    Hi,

We applied owlcarousel to Slideshow of ACM module and you can find the PHP code and CSS styles from files below

    templates/ja_elicyon/acm/slideshow/css/style.css
    templates/ja_elicyon/acm/slideshow/tmpl/style-product.php
    templates/ja_elicyon/acm/slideshow/tmpl/style-owl.php

It will require lots of customization on CSS, I recommend you to hire a developer to get this done for you.

Hi Ninja, thanks again for the follow-up. Honestly, however, I’m confused, if not altogether disappointed.

Owlcarosel developers seem to have made it easy to create the fade-in effect, yet after following their instructions in the following link, nothing happened.

    http://www.owlcarousel.owlgraphic.com/demos/animate.html

In the creation of this template, did Joomlart customize owlcarosel in such a way that would complicate/prevent owlcarousel’s fade-in instructions?

Their instructions are rather simple, yet I’m very troubled by your suggestion that this might take "lots of customization" and required a developer. If owlcarousel designed the slideshow to be easy, why is this so hard?

Lastly, why didn’t Joomlart presume the need to offer an easy fade-in option?? That’s often considered "STANDARD" in all of the slideshow’s I’ve ever come across. Why provided such a limited slideshow…?

    Hi,

Please have a look the comparison here: http://i.prntscr.com/b8e682caf81f4f54a73dd188dd35a520.png, you can add the the JS action to templates/ja_elicyon/acm/slideshow/tmpl/style-product.php file and include the animate.css file to templates/ja_elicyon/acm/slideshow/css/style.css file

Their instructions are rather simple, yet I’m very troubled by your suggestion that this might take "lots of customization" and required a developer. If owlcarousel designed the slideshow to be easy, why is this so hard?

Yes, it will very easy to customize on owlcarousel if you know the PHP code and CSS styles and Joomla structure.

Regarding your request to custom work and customization support is out of JA support scope.

    Thanks for your understand

    Regards
