    Hi there…

    Is it possible to use the (fab) Nextend SmarSlider 2 in the ‘slideshow’ position, but have the width go full width?
    (… I was able to use the SmartSlider on JA_Appolio … and want the same idea on JA_Nuevo…. reference: http://webolution9.com/dpm/ )

    Here’s how it currently looks, with the same settings in the SmartSlider as I used for the example above in JA_Appolio
    (it’s being confined to the width of the page container…) :

    Thanks in advance for any help….. 😉

    ps. here’s another example of what we’d like it look like…. : http://www.nextendweb.com/demo/smartslider2/varied-size/full-width-layer

    You need to edit some of the template files to achieve this.

    Go to /tpls/blocks/slideshow.php and edit

    <div class="container">

    and change it to

    <div class="slideshow">

    then add the following css to your custom.css

    .slideshow {width: 100%;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    }

    and it should show across the whole page.

    Hope that helps

    Wow. That worked PERFECTLY !!!!!!!
    Such a simple and elegant solution.

    Swissa: in case you don’t know it already…… YOU ROCK.

    ps. In case someone is looking to do the same with Widgetkit or whatever…. surely this solution would work. (if not… Master Swissa will straighten us out. 😉
