When using IOS devices (IPhone, IPad), the width of the slideshow doesn’t seem to stretch to the edge of the screen. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Hi Manos, the problem can be seen with Joomlart’s Demo Site (Ja_Travel) as well. Just use any IOS device and view the page in Desktop mode. The gab between edges of the screen to the slideshow isn’t huge but its there. Probably 4 to 6 pixels of space on the left and right of the slideshow.

    Hi,
That sounds logical to me… I just checked on android and works fine, but on mobile mode (for iPod etc) there is no slideshow!

Hi Manos, if you do not see a slideshow, it means you are viewing the template in mobile mode. Scroll down and click the button at the bottom right to change it to the desktop version. My template has been configured to show the desktop version at all times.

I hope the above is enough as a confirmation. I look forward to a solution, thanks.

I don’t have a iphone so I hope you’ll pardon me but I ran it through http://www.testiphone.com/ and I looks fine if I’m understanding.

No idea about testiphone.com. I have already attached 2 images to show the problem. I get the same problem when viewed with an actual Ipad or Iphone.

I just tested it with two iphone simulators. The one you mentioned as well as http://iphone4simulator.com/. The problem isn’t shown there. Its only shown on the real thing.

    Hi darrenf,

Since you are not using the iPhone profile for this, i am not sure if there is anything that can be done. If we change something on css or slideshow then probably it won’t display correct on non iPhone access.

P.S. Let’s see if anyone else (better at css and coding than me) can provide you with some more suitable solution.

Thanks for the reply. Generally, I think Ipad users prefer to view websites in desktop mode.

For some reason, the intended edges of the site is off by a little when viewed by these devices. Could it be that some of the .css codes behave differently on Safari in IOS? I believe the problem lies with the part where the width of the page is defined.

    Hi,

You can try by increasing the width of slideshow (just about 20px) and check if this helps you with this issue.
