November 17, 2012 at 7:26 pm #182348I downloaded this template and installed using the quickstart approach to get the exact feel and look of the demo – templates installation was flawless and the site is up – however, the slidshow module contains no images at all – it only has image with # 940 * 450 on it. I went on the backend to check if these images were loaded properly, but it appears like they are missing for some reason. Now, I would have replaced them anyway, but reading info on slideshow module it appears like there’s specific image sizes that must be loaded prior to working as the demo. Can anyone please help on how to best make use of the slideshow module and or how to obtain the same template as the demo…….please advise

November 19, 2012 at 7:36 am #473402Hi Elmi,
In the quickstart package, we replace all the demo pictures with the image place holder due to copyright infringement. When you build a new website from the quickstart package, you must replace all contents, including images. Hope you understand us.

November 19, 2012 at 4:05 pm #473470Thanks chief – I attempted to replace the images in the hopes of showing my own images on the slideshow, but it does not use it properly for some reason – I followed instructions and also the backend config for the slideshow using exact images uploaded on the slideshow folder – is there a requirements for the exact size or the module can make necessary adjustments…please advise if there’s need to use exact size shown on the demo template which reads 940 * 450 – thanks again – this is work in progress and need to make all necessary adjustments prior to continuing forward with this one.
Again, thanks muchHeR0 FriendHeR0

The slideshow recommended you should use the image with the exact size of 940×450 to display smoothly on the front end.

I did that, but still unable to proberly load on the front page – upon reading the slideshow module’s information on the backend – it indicates using some sort of bg format or something like that – unsure what the mean! i uploaded images the same size as recomended, but they don’t show on the frontpage – for some reason, am missing something. Are you aware of any instrucitons on how to make use of this slideshow? I will greatly appreciate if you could share as i looked the forums and was unable to locate anthing similar. Again, thanks
