Hi,
On the home page, our slideshow links do not work. Spent hours trying to figure out why but can’t find an answer.
Thanks

May 25, 2015 at 6:31 pm #571679In Joomla, if you want to view article individually, that article must be assigned to a menu item.
Pls create a new menu item (or use an existing one) and assign article (or category that article belongs to) to this new menu item and also make sure that you don’t assign any module to this menu item

May 25, 2015 at 10:45 pm #571699Hi,
I don’t understand. The articles in the slideshow are already assigned to categories and are visible through other links.
in archive menu / 2013
What should I do to correct this ?
Thanks !

May 28, 2015 at 2:01 am #572116Hi Ninja,
The issue with my site si that, as an annual event page, we have news category by year, and so if I apply the articles to the news category, then they won’t appear in their respective archive / year
Is their a way around that or should I manually change the category to news until their it does’nt show up in the slideshow bases on the date priority ?

May 28, 2015 at 3:58 pm #572161Maybe you don’t need to create new menu with each category
+ Create new category in Article Manager: For example: All Category
+ Move all category: 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010… to sub new All Category
+ Go back News menu under Main menu and select new All Category
June 5, 2015 at 2:05 am #572988How would Joomla be able to display the articiles from a specific year if all years are merged into one category ?

June 5, 2015 at 11:43 am #573030You don’t need to merge all categories onto one category, you can create category with tree structure below
+ Year
++ 2013
++ 2012
++ 2011
++ 2010
