    Hi,

In the slideshow module, is it possible to make the images clickable? For example, one image is about a certain promotion, and I want users to be able to click on the image to go to the page describing that promo.

If this is possible, how do I make it happen?

    Thanks.

Since I never go an answer, I did some research and found that the YOOcarousel module gives me the same slideshow functionality with clickable links. In fact, it doesn’t restrict me to using images only. I can simply publish any content category to the module.

Mark, I appreciate you sharing about YooCarusel. Have you had any troubles with the module? There seem to be a few people on joomla ext forum who did.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

I haven’t had any troubles with it. I actually ended up switching my site from JA Edenite to Mesolite, but I still needed to make slideshow images clickable. So I just replaced the JA-slideshow module with YOOcarousel (same dimensions, of course), and it works like a charm. I do miss the transitions in JA-slideshow, for example, the “bounce.” YOOcarousel gives fewer options in slideshow mode, but in general it works fine.

I’ll give it a try, thank you!
