Hello,
I loved Slideshow Lite very much for its option to add text and images to the basic image. I tried it with the Zite template first and it worked perfectly. However, University suits better to my needs but here I ran into a strange behavior:
Once switched over to “custom” style, the previously working additional images have lost their transparency.
One detail more: the previously red button in Zite is now invisible in front of the new style of the text with its likewise red background. Its defined via a class=”btn-action”, I guess and I will probably have to apply some other style?
This is, what I entered into the descripton field:
“<h3>Die Welt ist bunt</h3><p>Tourismus und Reise? Ohne Panoramen ist die Welt eine Scheibe.</p><a class=”btn-action” href=””><span>Zeigen Sie’s</span></a>”
Any ideas? Most importantly about the PNG’s ?
Any help appreciated,
Michael

February 6, 2014 at 4:07 am #521417Hi Michael,
JA Zite template has different style compared to JA University template. You can put your URL here, and set Optimize CSS to No (via template manager), then I can check it for you. Screenshot of how you want to achieve would be helpful as well.
February 6, 2014 at 9:35 pm #521567Thank you Saguaros for being willing to investigate this. CSS settings is as you said already from the start. The desired effect is the standard effect in Zite, with the secondary images sliding in in front of the background image – but with transparency (PNGs are used). You may have a look at the second screenshot above or you might as well apply the Zite template as default on my website: http://www.premiumpano.de/joomla. I will send you a pm with login data.

February 7, 2014 at 2:18 am #521589Hi Michael,
It is due to the background color set for image in Slideshow Lite module in JA University template. You can open the /templates/ja_university/css/mod_jaslideshowlite.css file, at approx line 67, remove the property as follows:
.ja-ss-item img {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF <<< remove this property
max-width: 100%;
width: 100%;
}
Once done, remember to clear JAT3 cache.

That indeed shows the transparency of the PNG again.
BTW: in my template file the code was
.ja-ss-item img {
background: #fff
width: 100%;
max-width: 100%;
}
but anyway, I removed the background parameter as you said and it works.Other issues still left, but I’ll try to figure that out on my own first. I will compare the university and zite css code for that, hope I manage…
Thanks a lot again,
Yours,
MichaelFebruary 7, 2014 at 2:53 pm #521701Hi Saguaros again,
I’m lost with these two issues, could you help with these as well?
Here is, what I need to achieve:
– The PNG images happen to show up too high. In the Zite template their base line is beneath the background image, which gives a very nice effect. That effect I would love to keep in place, but I’m not even able to find the position parameters of these secondary slideshow PNGs. The Zite code part at the end of the file with its “@media screen and…” seems to be responsible for resizing the dimensions of the secondary slideshow PNGs, I added that part and this seem to work now, but not for the position.
– since I’m using panoramic images, I would love to see them extend across the full screen width.
You can access the css file with my alterations at the regular path here:

February 10, 2014 at 9:55 am #522022Hi Michael,
You can have a look at this file: /modules/mod_jaslideshowlite/assets/css/mod_jaslideshowlite-custom.css, you will see how we style for it and change as you wish. Or you can send me screenshot of you want to achieve, I will suggest you further.
For the full width slideshow, you can follow these threads:
