I’ve tried to add new graphics to the slideshow lite module and they don’t appear. I have made sure that the box was checked for it to show and made sure that there was content in the “edit” section. If I uncheck a previous image, it disappears but it won’t let me add a graphic. What could be wrong?

February 21, 2014 at 8:49 am #523745Did you try to clean all caches after adding image into this slideshow module?
If problem still persists, you can PM me admin & ftp credentials of your site, I will debug further.
September 11, 2015 at 7:51 pm #683339Hi Saguaros,
I’m having the same issue with the slideshow modules not showing new photos added (with those photos checked in the module). I don’t think this is caches issue because I use a different computer/browser and still not showing up… the only way I can get the new photos to show up is to change some setting in that module then I can see the new photos appear on the front-end, then I change back the settings in the back-end.
Can you please share the solution how you resolve this issue so I can try it on my site too?
I’m using the JA University template, T3 framework with Joomla 3.5.
Thanks!

September 15, 2015 at 1:54 pm #684183Hi Saguaros,
Yes, there is no errors on the front-end and appears to be working.
But the problem is when you add a “new image” to that “slideshow” directory, the new image won’t show up on the front-end by default, even thought the image is “checked” in the JA slideshow module setting. What I have to do as a work around is to change something in the module setting, for example, enable the thumbnails and then disable the thumbnails, then the new image will start to appear. That’s issue I’m having with my JA university + ja slideshow (Joomla 3.5) sites. If you want to test it this out yourself, please try upload 1 image to the root/slideshow directory and you’ll know I mean.
After you test it please remove the photo since this is a live site. Thanks!September 15, 2015 at 1:54 pm #748647Hi Saguaros,
