If you choose the source from a folder , the module ‘ll does not support style as current of the rasite.
here is some demo of the slideshow using the “folder” source :
1) http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#templates.joomlart.com/ja_quartz
2) http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#templates.joomlart.com/ja_kyanite
3) http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#templates.joomlart.com/ja_opal
4)…. ( you can find more in the joomlart’s demo)If you like one of them, you dowload the template package and get this override template of the module and css file from this package to use for your module
Good luck

March 31, 2010 at 9:03 am #338566Dear andronopoulos!
It’s not bug. The lastest version of The ja slideshow 2 allow get data of the slideshow from the articles of joomla or from the Image Folder . In the old version the module only support get source from a Image folder. With new version is more complex and difficult to configure, if you have any problems pls let me known, i try to resolve them
Thanks
