I can not assign slideshow position to my slideshow lite module. There is no slideshow position on drop down menu. Why?

you I added slideshow position in your template.xml file , it was missed there .
Please check it now , the slideshow position is present on feature intro layout .

Now you can publish module on slideshow position .

as an alternative you could also just type slideshow in the position field in the module settings then press enter, it will add it automatically.
