I added a new position on the top right of the header for an image, which I want to be a slideshow.

The position shows up but the slideshow is cut off. Not sure if it has to do with the slideshow masking, z-index. or what.

The photo on top right should be slideshow. Right now it is just a custom html module in that new position. It shows up fine, just can’t get a slideshow to work in there.

    Any suggestions? Thank you,
    Cheryl

    Hello Cheryl

In order to help, would you care adding that slideshow on your website? That way I can look and see what’s happening.

    Best regards.

    Vito,

I got it working, thanks, http://www.foxhuntinglife.com

The slideshow seems to be caching old images, even though I remove them all then reupload and also clear joomla cache and browser cache. I guess that will resolve.

I have used the new position with a slideshow on the top right of masthead on home page, and a random image (same folder & images but static) on the sub pages.

    Thanks,
    Cheryl

    Hello Cheryl

I’m seeing here “http://www.foxhuntingworldwide.com/index.php” that you have your slideshow working.
You said earlier that slideshow is beeing cut off. Does that problem remains. If so would you please explain your problems with a little more details?

    Best regards

Vito, yes it is working thanks. It is not being cut off any longer.

The only issue is it seems to be still showing old images. The 3 images I have in there are the only 3, and they do NOT have the photographer name in white along side the photo. Probaby it is some kind of cache but I have cleared both joomla and browser cache.

The 3 images I have checked and re-checked in that folder do not have the photographer name. It’s very strange!

hopefully that will resolve itself on its own. if not I will submit another post, so you can mark this one done.

I actually posted my steps to someone else who was looking to do the same thing!

    Cheryl
