I have a JA Ores template. The slideshow on it in the header is not appearing in IE8 over Windows 7 (64-bit). It is appearing in IE8 over windows XP. This problem exists on more than one machine. The tempate is showing properly on Firefox on the same machines.

November 15, 2010 at 5:36 am #362875you try with solution:
open the file modules/mod_jaslideshows2/mod_jaslideshows2.php and remove the following code:
[PHP]
/* fix navigator on ie 6,7*/
$E(‘.ja-articles .ja-slide-thumbs-handles’).setStyles( {‘opacity’:’0.001′, ‘background’:’#FFF’} );[/PHP]

November 30, 2010 at 8:36 am #364812I have the same problem. I’ve removed the code:
[PHP] * fix navigator on ie 6,7*/
$E(‘.ja-articles .ja-slide-thumbs-handles’).setStyles( {‘opacity’:’0.001′, ‘background’:’#FFF’} );[/PHP]
But now, I can’t use the navigation. If I do click in the text does not change the slide.
How can I resolve the problem?
Thanks
December 2, 2010 at 4:21 pm #365135Hi,
I also have this problem, I removed the code, but however: no luck, the navigation is not showing. I have the problem with IE6 in Windows 7. A client of me has the issue in IE8 on Windows Vista.
Firefox/Safari/Chrome works fine.
Any ideas? 🙁

March 24, 2011 at 3:46 pm #383080What does it say in English? I’m visiting your site and the “Site En Construction” appears fine in IE9.
Can you open a support ticket with your login information so we can see what is going on.As you know IE9 just dropped in the last week, so we are beginning our file on how to overcome the latest Microsoft issues. (Who releases a browser that doesn’t work on 70% of your operating system’s? IE9 doesn’t work on XP! Insanity!)
