    Hi,

Could anybody tell me what can be the reason of the problem? I have latest joomla version, latest K2 component and Kranos 2.5.0 template.
I do not remember when but after upgrading some components from the frontpage all modules disappeared.

    Thank you.

    Hello pofagyalu,

Can you PM me with your site information (your site URL, your site admin account) and your FTP account? So I can diagnose this problem.

BTW, please include this forum thread URL in your PM, so I can follow it.

    Best regards.

    Hello pofagyalu,

I can see in “Default” layout in “Layouts” tab of Kranos template manager, there are no such module positions mentioned, that’s why they don’t appear on your site. E.g. Kranos doesn’t have “accordion” position

Your layout of template must contain module positions you are assigning the modules to, then they can be displayed on site.

    Regards.

    Hi Stork,

I do not understand something. Let’s concentrate on Ja Slideshow module which is placed in slideshow position. Why it does not display? Furthermore accordion is a module which is placed on the left module position and consequently some modules are placed in the accordion position. This arrangement worked before unfortunately I do not know what is the reason and why it is not working anymore. Not to mention that I can not see module placed in contenetslider position neither.

Could you please check once again what is the solution? Most important is Ja Slide Show for me to be displayed on the frontpage.

    Thank you.

    Hello pofagyalu,

Can you tell me which components you updated before? It’ll help me diagnose problem quicker.

    Regards.

    Hi Stork11,

I usually use Ja Extension Manager to update all JA extensions, this I do for all extensions it finds simultaneously. It was a while ago and I do not remember exactly but I suppose it was K2 component because previously I had some problems with K2 updates.
After K2 updates I had problems with several JA modules not displaying correctly. At that time I could eliminate the problem by reinstalling previous versions of K2. Now I did again a K2 update hoping that bugs (if they existed) disappeared but I cannot return to the original state even if I reinstall K2 version 2.5.3.

    Thank you.

    Hi Stork11,

After long search on the internet I have found the problem (not yet the solution) and it has nothing to do with JA modules nor the JA template. After disabling SEF Url’s I have got back my long desired frontpage displaying all the modules which disappeared before. I guess if you do not have any suggestion I will continue to find the solution somewhere else on SEF forums. From my point of view this topic can be closed.

    Thank you.

And finally here is the solution in case anybody meets the same problem:

Go to Extensions > Language manager > Installed – Site > see how many languages you have in there, then go to Extensions > Language manager > Content > and make sure all those language are also present/published in there too.

    Thank you.
