April 1, 2013 at 8:57 pm #186367The photos of the slideshow are shown as thumbnails-smaller than their actual size. I tried multiple choices through the menu but nothing changes.
The slideshow dimensions are 1100*400 as are the photos’ in the two k2 items I am trying to show in the homepage http://www.inthessaloniki.com

April 1, 2013 at 9:15 pm #488491As a “first investigative” step …. have you cross-checked your own settings/configurations against those of the demo version … utilizing ??
Can’t tell you how many times this method has helped me – and many others – figure things out.
(not everything, of course, but a good number of general configuration issues)Just a suggestion, again, as a “first investigative step”
😎

Read through the write up (I wrote) within that link I provided for you for an explanation as to how it can possibly assist you. Also, when you installed your template, did you do so utilizing the quickstart+sample data process?

April 1, 2013 at 9:46 pm #488497Ok. I created a demo website. I saw the options of the slideshow in the demosite and I used the same values and options in my own website. The image is much smaller, like a thumbnail.
What should i do further? How can we solve it.
By the way the demo is nice tool. Maybe it will help me in the future with other issues.
I am looking forward for your answer.

April 1, 2013 at 9:55 pm #488498Mind you, I’m brainstorming at the moment ….. though I also submitted your issue to the JA Help Desk – for the JA Developers to take a look at and assist further as well (in case I am not able to work this through with you beforehand). The more eyes the better, right? 😎
So you advised that the images you have for your slideshow are saved as 1100×400 (dimensions) – correct?
What is the file path of the file folder in which you have your slideshow images saved?konpatsogiannis Friendkonpatsogiannis

April 2, 2013 at 8:41 am #488562I found out what causes the problem but I csan solve it. slideshow uses generic k2 image which was in300px. I changed this value to 1100 as my photo, i eased all the cache and the photo still stays at 300px. I even erased manually the cache photos prom this picture and i uploaded the photo again as well.
How can we solve this matter?

Apologies for this late response, somehow I missed this thread.
I fixed the problem on your site this way
+ Go to K2 Component -> Parameters button -> Image tags and change configure as the screenshot
+ Remove image include in k2 items
+ Upload image see the screenshot
+ Clear cache from Admin area and check front-end JA Slideshow module again
I applied this fix to both K2 items “Marathon “ALEXANDER THE GREAT”” and White Tower Museum of your site.
Please check it again let me know if it helps
