    Hi all, I would like the slideshow on JA Anion to go the full width of the page and for the right column to start then under the slideshow? To be clear I would like the extend the Mass-Top position across the page and then for the right module position to start under the slideshow?

    Can someone show how this is done?? :-[

    Thanks in advance

    yes, you go to the administrator > template manager to choose and edit the JA Anion template. and you click to the Layouts tab, in the Layouts Management panel, you click to the Edit button at the Default Layout Record and then you see the popup showing. => take backup of original code and replace it by following code:

    <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”utf-8″?>
    <layout>
    <name>Default</name>
    <description>Default layout for JA Anion template</description>
    <blocks name=”top” style=”xhtml”>
    <block name=”header” type=”header”></block>
    <block name=”cpanel” type=”usertools/cpanel”></block>
    <block name=”mainnav” type=”mainnav” markup=”3″></block>
    </blocks>
    <blocks name=”middle” colwidth=”20″ markup=”3″ fixheight=”1″>
    <block name=”content-mass-top” style=”raw”>content-mass-top</block>
    <block name=”content-top”>content-top</block>
    <block name=”inset1″ width=”20″>left</block>
    <block name=”inset2″ width=”30″>right</block>
    </blocks>
    <blocks name=”bottom” style=”xhtml”>
    <block name=”botsl” type=”spotlight” markup=”3″>user5,user6,user7,user8</block>
    <block name=”navhelper” type=”navhelper” markup=”3″></block>
    <block name=”footer” type=”footer” main-inner=”1″></block>
    </blocks>
    </layout>

    Hi there, I am in the backend and when I click into the template manager and try and click the EDIT button on the layouts panel or any other panel nothing happens. Its like I dont have premission to change anything? Anything I click on does not work. Even changing the default template style does not save? Any ideas?

    You can use your control panel to go to: –

    websitedomainname.com / templates / ja_anion / core / etc / layouts / default.xml

    There you could make the changes

    But, Someone in another thread has said that the code to replace is exactly the same as the code that was already there – but I didnt check that.

    Thanks but is there anyway to get the control panel in the backend to start working? Do I change the permissions of this default.xml file or something? I want to be able to use the control panel in the backend to change styles etc but it looks like its frozen or something?

    The Control Panel only displays on the front-end using the T3-version2-based template, it’s not possible to use in the back-end
