Joomla 1.7, Slideshow 2, Portfolio template

Slideshow reading from an image folder with the above description strips h1 and span tags.
How can I prevent it from stripping such tags?

And where are “Stage Settings” stored? I can’t see them under module params column in DB.

Found it under /modules/mod_jaslideshow/profiles/portfolio.ini
