I’m using Avian II for professional photographer’s site. Client wanted larger slideshow and didn’t like the thumbnails, so I set #thumbs = 0 to get +50 px height. Quick-fix to get rid of thumbs background and directional arrows by substituting 20×20 clear-background PNGs (168 bytes) for:
features.png
jss-bg.png
re-left.png
re-left-cover.png
re-right.png
re-right-hover.png
Firefox dealt with it but days later I find that Internet Explorer 7 won’t display the front page, it’s hung up on the slideshow. I thought I could delete all code in mod_ja_rsslide pertaining to the thumbnails and maybe get the slideshow to load faster in the process, and it’s easy enough to identify code explicitly related to thumbnails but thumbnail motion and direction that might overlap slideshow motion and direction, is over my head. Can my fix be fixed or is there a better workaround?

Also, Gallery2 albums-view won’t display. Don’t know whether that’s because of RSSlide, or does this version of RSGallery2 not re-generate new thumbs / new display pics when you change thumbs / display width?
