    Hello,

I installed the JA slideshow 2 on a JA_opal template. it will not display when i put it on the JA_slideshow module, but it will, when i locate it on the banner module. (or any other module). Any advice?

    Hi,

I am trying to solve this issue too. Anybody manage to get slideshow working.

Also how do you get the thumbnails to show like in the demo

I have the same error. I’m eager to get it working … the template is not usable as it is today.

Let’s try to raise this problem as much as we can. There’s clearly a bug to fix here.

I hope joev has some good news coming up shortly (see post below) 😉

I do have a fix from support on this issue, but I have not tested it yet. As soon as I test the fix, I will post the solution. Thanks.</blockquote>

A temporary solution to this has been posted by “ccmsab” and can be viewed here http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showpost.php?p=119247&postcount=4

Adding something to the user5 position will cause the slideshow to display. I am trying to experiment with the thumbnails, how can they display without being distorted? Is there a certain width and height that must be used?
