Hello,

I’m in the process of rebuilding an existing site (JA Rave) which is build on Joomla v1.5.23 to get the whole thing upgraded to the latest versions of the JA Rave template and to Joomla v2.5.6.

I installed the QuickStart package and everything works fine except for when I disable or change the standard photo gallery module (which is pre-installed in the QuickStart package). I don’t have any use for this module (which is a simple custom html module), but when I change anything or click to disable it, the slideshow on the homepage won’t load and keeps extending all the way to the bottom of the page.

In the attachment you can see what exactly happens to the slideshow when the photo gallery module is disabled.

Any help on how to fix this?

Hi Arckoo,

May I know which version of Joomla are you running this JA Rave template with? I’ve tried to disable this Photo Gallery module in this template in my local, but it works fine, also make sure that you clean all the cache after disabling it.

I’m using Joomla v2.5.6 running this template. I cleaned all the cache but that didn’t do the trick unfortunately. Any idea what else it can be?

Maybe this will help?

I’ve broken down the code filled in into the custom output textfield of the module. The only part which is left is {japopup} {/japopup}… as soon as I remove that part as well, that is when the slideshow goes nuts!
