I am trying to set the description opacity of the slideshow2 module (in the header position), but no matter what value I put into the module configuration, it always has an opacity of 1. This is completely reproducible in the Quickstart for Quartz.

I have searched the forums for solutions, and there was one suggesting that the js be modified to change an opacity setting of ‘0.01’ to whatever I want. But this cannot be correct since in my case the opacity is always 1, not 0.01.

I cannot see where the value of ‘1’ is being set, so I cannot figure out how to hack the module code. Ideally, I would prefer to get the module to respect the configuration parameter.

Can anyone help please?
