May 25, 2010 at 2:07 pm #151303I have spent ages trying to get Slideshow2 to work successfully using images as the source. I have the Quickstart demo content installed.
I’d like to display a slideshow of 3 images with description text on top. I’d also like to set up navigation to use three different thumbnail images with a title alongside.
Is this possible and, if so, can someone tell me how please?

May 26, 2010 at 8:08 am #344764The site is at http://www.fifecommunityfoodproject.org.uk
The site is still mostly JA Ores Quickstart content. You will see that the slideshow is currently set up to display from articles. I have been experimenting with images as the source and got the code working, but I cannot see how to set up the thumbnail navigation and how to add text alongside the thumbnails.
I have edited the JAslideshow2 css file to get rid of th eblack background on images and display transparency.
Basically, I am looking for the correct item description code to use in the source from images section of the module to overlay text on an image and then set up navigation using a thumbnail for each slide with simple text alongside the thumbnail like ‘What We Do’ – in a similar way to how it looks using source from articles. Hope this makes sense.
