February 29, 2012 at 6:03 am #440795Let’s try theses things:
Turn off system cache plugin.
Turn of JS compression if on.
let me know after this how all goes.February 29, 2012 at 1:45 pm #440855<em>@Blaine 303810 wrote:</em><blockquote>Let’s try theses things:

I turned off JS compression.
JT3 cache is disabled as well. I cleared JT3 cache and my browsers (firefox, IE) cache. However, the problem must be somewhere else, since it is still there. I tested it in firefox, IE and safari and it is there in all browsers.
Thank you

March 1, 2012 at 2:33 am #441015Thanks for providing me backend access to the site.
After having a look I find many issues that in themselves and combined may be the root of your problem.
Almost ALL items on the site are running outdated when checked with JA Extension Manger.
You are running many items in Legacy and my understanding is that Legacy is not available as an option in a 2.5 Joomla site. So I’m not even sure how you have enabled this.
I also find browsing from page to page, just in your admin panel thsat each page loads very slowly and this is unusual.
I tried to switch the template to BEEZ and the template will not6 change so i am confused as to how you were able to do this earlier in this thread.
I am not sure ho9w much development is on this site or who your host is but I would strongly suggest they be looked at as well as you looking into the other issues I have mentioned above.March 1, 2012 at 3:02 am #441025<em>@Blaine 304087 wrote:</em><blockquote>Thanks for providing me backend access to the site.

I simply set the BEEZ template to be the default for “english” – because it is a multi-language site, it has a few tweaks. Another way would be to simply make a new “quick-start” site just enough to repeat the issue. I could do that and give you the admin access if you want. Thanks again.

Hi,
I went ahead and created a new clean environment to help reproduction.
Steps to reproduce:
1. install joomla 2.5
2. install Joomlart JA_TRAVEL “quick start” template version 2.5 (downloaded fev 29 2012).
3. Follow the steps listed in post #1
I Used easyheader plugin to add a custom java .js file include(http://blackdale.com/index.php/extensions/easyheader) and jquery includer(http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/site-performance/10236) to allow to run jquery code without conflicts.
I used sourcerer (http://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/sourcerer?tab=download) to insert HTML code in the article.
I created a new article “Test” and a new “Test” Menu to replicate the issue only.4. the issue still appears under these conditions.
blaine, I sent you a PM with the login infos.
Thanks a lot.

March 1, 2012 at 4:28 am #441032May I update items while in the site for you?

You can update and test all you want since it is only a demo site to investigate the issue. Thanks again
