    Hi,

I tested this case and look like it’s not compatible with Slogin 1.9 and I reported this matter here. If you don’t have another option, you can use old version 1.7.2 (see attachmen) instead.

    Hello,
After the install of the new release 1.1.1 of the Appollio template and version 2.3 of the T3 plugin, Slogin does not work anymore on my site (http://def.crooze.fm) >:( . I tried with versions 1.7.2 , 1.8 and 1.9 of the sLogin package. None of them work anymore allthough they all did before I upgraded the template and T3 plugin, so the problem must be there somwhere. Please fix this ASAP !

    Thanks for your help.

Could you please provide a temporary back-end account via private reply so I can investigate the problem for you ?

    Hi Frank,

Thanks for the info. I checked your site but if you switch to default template like Beez3 and temporary change the position of Slogin module to “top” (available module position in Beez3 template), you will see that it doesn’t work as well.

In this case, please have a look at this page and make sure you configured it correctly.

    Hi Adam,

I tried everything but could not get it to work. I think the problem lies in the Slogin component itself beeing incompatible with Joomla 3.3.6 . I have asked the developers for help and hope they react soon.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Frank,

Yes, you can see in my previous reply, I indicated that the module Slogin just doesn’t work with default Joomla! template, hope that it will be fixed soon.

    Hello Adam,

The problem is in the JA Appolio template, more specifically in the Alternative Layout from the template. I have set it to “Compact” from the Slogin module now and it works. All the logo’s I want to show form the different providers show up and it is possible to login with them.

    Chek it out here: http://def.crooze.fm/nl

I did a fresh install from their demo package on another subdomain and there it did not work either.

So this is something that happened since the last version of JA Appolio (version 1.1.2). It might be in the T3 plugin (version 2.4.0) also, I have no idea. So , the smart people at Joomlart will have to solve this. I hope they read this tread.

    Hi @croozemaster,

I checked your site and see that login icons appeared but got error message when click any login button, please recheck. In addition, as stated in previous reply, if you switch to DEFAULT Joomla! template like Beez or Protostar, the Slogin module doesn’t work as well.

In this case, please use the old version (check page 1) while waiting for the fix from its developer instead.

    Hello Adam,

I know that the login buttons give an error, but that is because I have registered the api’s of the various providers to the definitive website location (http://www.crooze.fm), so they on’t work on def.crooze.fm).

But the fact is that the module displays OK if the Alternative Laout in the module settings are set to either layout (‘default’ or ‘compact’) of the Slogin script itself. If I set it to the Appolio Alternative Layout, the logo’s do not appear anymore. I have tested it on the Protostar template as well (see at http://def.crooze.fm/de ) . There the same thing happens: the logo’s show up with the ‘default’ or ‘compact’ layout, but not with the ‘Appolio’ layout. Therefor my conclusion is that the Slogin script works as it should be, but the Appolio Alternative Layout for Slogin does not work anymore after upgrading to the latest version of Joomla, the Appolio template and the T3 plugin.

I think it is an incompatibility with Joomla 3.3.6. As I said, I did a completely new install on a subdomain of the Appolio demo package which has olde versions of the T3 plugin and the Appolio template BUT the latest version of Joomla 3.3.6. I first installed version 1.7.2 of Slogin and then 1.9 but the result is the same: when using the Appolio Alternative Layout, the logo’s do not show up, but they do with the ‘default’ and ‘compact’ layout of the module. So either T3 or JA Apploio have an compatibility problem with Joomla 3.3.6.

I have opened a ticket with Joomlart but did not get a reply from them yet.

    Have a nice day.

    Hi Frank,

I updated the HTML overrides for you, please download attachment file and replace current folder root_folder/templates/ja_appolio/html/mod_slogin with the new one and recheck.

    Hello Adam,

I replaced the mod_slogin folder files, but that makes no difference. The logo’s still do not show up when using the “appolio” Alternative Layout.

I see that the files default.php and compact.php have changed from version 1.0 to 1.7 and that there are some changes in the files. But the file appolio.php is still the same as before (version 1.0). Is that supposed to be like that? Also, shouldn’t there be an ‘appolio’ folder with a slogin.css file in it?

Do you need ftp access to my site for further investigation? Just let me know.

    Thanks for your support,
    Frank
