Thats increideble this template needs more then 3 minuts to load, and its a question if it will load! and even i postet that problem i got a support ticket…. well the ticket couldnt help … becouse i couldnt entrance the ticket…. well i am very upset about this problem …. jesus christ a artisteer template loads 25 times faster then this template. i work over weeks on this problem and the portal and know i am done …. after combinize, merged, set up the htacess, and compressed it still dont works …. well i think i finished with this … thats a client killer …. i think 20 packs aspirin its not enough for this headache….. be carefull if you want to use this in life !

I think it depends what kind of resources are used on the site. This site http://www.cugp.com.ua uses Teline III v1, on average it takes 6 seconds to load the page, as reported by Google Analytics. It’s not super fast, but not bad.
Also, do not forget about hosting – it also could create problems.
Compress images and use less external resources (linked from other sites). Having even thumbs from YouTube could slow down the loading speed.
Finally, try Page Speed add on for FireFox (works with FireBug) or similar to inspect your site.
