    Hello Killerwebs,

Did you configured the modules that are shown on the right? I mean did you tell this modules not to show on the right when the forum was choosen from the menu?

    Kind Regards,
    Peter.

    Hello,

That is what I am trying to figure out, I am new to Joomla, so I am still learning.

I have the home page setup like I want, and it uses the 2 right colums, the SMF page I created seems to load using the homepage settings leaving the 2 columns. I am not sure how to setup the SMF page to not display those columns or tell it to open a page that I can specify the items in those columns.

    Thanks

You need to disable all the modules on the left and right to remove those columns.

Ok, how do I do that without disabling the side columns on the home page also?

I know I can assign modules to appear on certain pages, and the gives me the different layouts, which I have done, but I dont know how to create the page using the SMF bridge component and specify the modules, it seems to load using the home page layout, which shows those 2 right columns

    Thanks

Please select which pages you want to display your module:
    400
