Hey,

For the user names not showing in my newsticker, I altered the template override a tiny bit.

File: /templates/ja_beranis/html/mod_janewsticker/default.php

I added a new line on line 42 (inside the foreach($list as $index=>$item)) <?php $thisUser = JFactory::getUser($item->created_by)->get(name); ?>

Next, 2 lines down, I changed the code inside the square brackets to this: [<?php echo $thisUser; ?>]

I could go adding a conditional state if an alias was used, but for now that’s not a priority.

Please notice, I don’t have any problems anymore at this moment, I actually fixed them and just supplied the fix here.
