We are using a coupon that limits use to 1 time per employer. However, if an employer starts to use the coupon but cancels the order (or otherwise does not finish), it marks the coupon as “used”. Here is the note from the employer:

“Yes, I did have a problem, I accidentally closed out of it and then it said I couldn’t use the coupon code again :/”

It would be better to have the coupon show as used only after the transaction is completed.

Small issue, but I thought I would pass it along.

Thanks for your bug report.

When user uses coupon then proceed to checkout, coupon will be marked as used >> That’s our workflow. Because we can’t control the transaction.

Anyway, we also think this should be improved as well. We’ll try to find a solution for this. I have created new issue for this problem, you can check the process of fixing this issue by following this link: http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JAJBJ25-334

For now, you will need to create a new coupon for your employer when he/she accidentally cancels the checkout process.
