    Hi,

Need to make some minor tweaks to the main menu.

I have attached an image to reflect the requirements.

    1. Move the logo over , once i know whats controlling that i will be able to deal with the desired spacing. I have a couple of menu items to go in and i wish to keep everything inline.

    2. Move the search bar over (if i need to) again once i know whats controlling that i will be able to deal with the desired spacing. I just need the option on moving it. Also what is the css is dealing with the blue colour in the search box.

    3. Need to change the color of both the inactive & active colours of the main menu items.

All my other requirements for the main menu have been answered in previous post so i can deal with them once i complete the above.

I have already setup a custom css file for the above tweaks.

If you need to see the site its under my development url: http://dev.digitalenigma.co.uk/masterj3/

Thanks in advance and i am glad i’m back with joomlart.

    Stef.

    Hi global21,

You can make change easily by using Google chrome inspect element or Firebug for Firefox. What I usually do is set Optimize CSS in Template manager to No, then hover on any html element (menu / text / button / …) you want and right click on it and then click on inspect element, it will show you which CSS class it is using and which CSS file and the path to this element on the right side. then you can go to the file and replace it with new CSS you change.

See this tip for more info: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/FAQs#How_to_use_Firebug
