June 3, 2011 at 4:20 am #164759Where can I find the exact same black, circular, social button icons that are above the top menu on the JA Methy’s template? What code would I have to use to link them? Would I use the same custom module or would I have to do something different. Any help is appreciated.

June 3, 2011 at 4:39 am #394422HI there,
The icons used in the JA Methys are provided along with the sample data. The same can be found in the Quickstart package >> Unzip and then look for the following files :
images/stories/icon-flickr.png
images/stories/icon-facebook.png
images/stories/icon-twitter.png
images/stories/icon-digg.png
images/stories/icon-stumbleupon.png
images/stories/icon-feed.pngor download the same from the Template demo site :

http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_methys/images/stories/icon-facebook.png
http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_methys/images/stories/icon-twitter.png
http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_methys/images/stories/icon-digg.png
http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_methys/images/stories/icon-stumbleupon.png
http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_methys/images/stories/icon-feed.pngIt is recommended to use the same custom HTML module for getting the demo site alike display. You can add your own links to the icons by checking and updating the html code :
Follow the userguide go to post No. 5 and in it 5. Social Menu

June 3, 2011 at 8:10 am #394450Thanks. I figured out the link and found the buttons. However I also found some different buttons, and wondered where and what in the css that I would have to change to raise the buttons a bit higher, because the new buttons seem to overlap the top menu. Any help is appreciated. The webpage is http://www.musicmaniax.net.
June 3, 2011 at 9:05 am #394457Hi,
Just saw your post. Your website is amazing. Really nice. I was wondering what you used for the comments? Is it the Joomla one.

June 3, 2011 at 1:42 pm #394514Thank you for the kind words. The comments are from the k2 component and I guess you can set where and how they are displayed in the k2 parameters in relationship to the module.

June 8, 2011 at 4:37 pm #395319Inside the custom module where the # sign is used I realized that you had to substitute the actual urls to get the button to point to whatever location you wanted the button to connect to.
