I cannot work out how to add the social icons that appear in the articles. in the demo the articles that are pulled from Facebook and Twitter etc have a little icon labelling the social network source. How do I add this style to new feeds I am adding please?

Hi Ghog
Because in template.css has

.item.facebook .item-header {
background: url("../images/icon-facebook.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
margin-bottom: 10px;
padding: 0 0 0 40px;
}
Other menu on sidebar have class same type above. In default, only have style icon for facebook and twitter

sorry but that response is a bit cryptic for me. can you explain how I achieve those icons on other feed sections?

That means you copy the duplicated css code and change facebook to twitter, vimeo, youtube, … to respective with menu title.

sorry maybe i wasn’t clear, example, this page: http://www.emudaily.com/index.php/facebook is displaying the Facebook icons however this new page I created http://www.emudaily.com/index.php/facebook-entertainment-news only displays Facebook text.
