Hello,

I have copied all kind of codes of Addthis in the social footer position but the buttons do not show up. Any idea why? I have used a custum html module and added the newest addthis code. Have a look here to see: http://www.seizoenwerk.nl/nieuw

Please try steps below:

– Set “Editor – None” for Default Editor in Global Configuration in backend. http://prntscr.com/3w8qw8

– Go to the “Footer Social” module (Custom HTML module) and add your Addthis code in the content. http://prntscr.com/3w8qs3

– Remember to assign this module to “footer-social” position and the menu items.

you can simply add the addthis buttons codes from module editor .
now open the module – source code
add our facebook ,Twitter id on the place of joomlart links.

Hi, Thanks for reply but what you are telling me I have done that. I used no editor, I copied all the codes into a custom html and I read the manual of Magz and used that codes and replaced joomlart but nothing seems to be working, the button do not show up. As you follow the link, you can see there are no buttons while the module is installed.

@remmers,

The issue is caused by one of the protection filters applied by RSFirewall!: the JS Protections filter.
This option will help protect you against javascript injections by disrupting the starting tags, for example an <javascript> tag will be changed to < j-vascript > | <iframe> tag will be changed to < i-frame >

Please go to RSFirewall component >> Firewall Configuration >> Active Scanner then unselect Enable protections for Form data (POST).

Then go to the Footer Social module and add Addthis’s code again.

I just fixed on your site. Now, you can see the Social footer on front-end.

Change the configuration as said by Nazario and check it 🙂
