Hi,

How do you make the social plugin import feeds and create posts that display the page title in the URL? At the moment my site only shoes the youtube id etc… eg:

http://supereight.co/skateboarding/49506-youtube-id-lrrngud6iec

the part after skateboarding/ would ideally have an SEO friendly URL of the post page.

any one have any ideas?

I looked into this further and I think it is to do with the “alias” of each post? how do I change the URL to post “title” and not “alias” does anyone know if there is a global setting to achieve this?

Hi Xumbrella,

I regret to say No. Our JA Social Feed plugin has functionality of crawling the social data (Youtube, Facebook, Twitter..), then import these data to Joomla content categories. The URL appearance belongs to default Joomla global setting which displays alias as one part of URL. In addition, back to your website, I could see that it has the friendly url for Search Engines, and URL nearly the same with page title.

that is quite disappointing as it is pretty important for SEO… is there no way to change so that the alias is the page title? as it would be if you were to create a post manually? leaving blank then makes the default alias the page title, right?
