I posted this in the Teline III forum however I then realized it probably makes more sense to post here since a solution would not be template specific.
I will be using the template to display and categorize all articles as it is designed to do. However, I am wondering, is it possible to have “all articles” regardless of category setting to also display within another area of the site.
For instance, using the Teline III template as an example, the main menu would be:
Home, Section Main, Section One, Section Two, Section Three
Home would work as all templates do now.
Section Main would display ALL articles based on date.
The submenu of Section Main would actually be (Section One, Section Two, Section Three) and would link to the applicable categories.
Section One, Section Two…. would work just as they do now.
Can this be done?

Hi dutton,
i would suggest you to install one of the following components, since they all (more or less) do what you want:
AtoZ – A simple listing of all the articles published on the website ordered by first letter.
Article list by month – as the name says
ABC – alphabetical listings of content items
A-Z Content list – lists every bit of menu accessible content on your website from A-Zyou could also display list of articles in any module position, with almost any extension you can find here.
Good luck

March 21, 2010 at 3:22 pm #337080Thanks! I will be looking for one that sorts by recent date and I think I found one. Do these show the article summary too (intro)? So far from what I have read, it sounds like they just list the title.

Article list by month seems to provide article summary too, so this could be your safest bet, from what i’ve read in the description.
April 15, 2011 at 4:19 am #386476It works like a charm!
