December 1, 2007 at 11:12 am #124112Is there a way to get the READ MORE button to send you to the items page instead of opening in the same place.
Example if I have a “sales product intro” on display on the FRONTPAGE when I click the read more button it sends you to that products page and not the same extended FRONTPAGE.
Hope you understand what I’m getting at.

December 1, 2007 at 11:20 am #233737It’s something in the Joomla!’s core itself, not in the template. Some old Joomla!’s versions does exactly what you describe here!
See some of our old template demos to see what I say, for example: http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=ja_polaris

December 1, 2007 at 12:41 pm #233739So are you saying there is a no go on this one?
Could I copy the read more button image and place it into a mosimage and hyperlink it to the page required?

For example: <a href=”your_link_here” class=””readon”>Readon</a>

December 1, 2007 at 5:23 pm #233753<a href="your_link_here" class="readon">Readon</a>
Have you tried my code for the “readon” above? If yes and still no “readon” button, it would be very strange. Please give me some more direct informations on what you want or a link and I’m ready to help you here!
Add a CSS class “readon” to your link and the button will be there for you. Take a look as the Fagus source, you will see the actual mark-up of the “readon” button.
