running Joomla 1.6 quickstart, upgraded to 1.6.3

When I login from the front and and try to create an article, the form comes up fine, so I enter title and text, select a category etc. but then when I ‘save’ . . . nothing happens ! in fact, if I select ‘cancel’ nothing happens either ?!

( nb: I’m using chrome, but just in case it was a browser issue I’ve tried from IE and get the same problem )

Is there some setting which allows articles to be created in certain categories or something >?

It’s probably very simple and I’ve missed it, but any help appreciated,

Solved ! I am using JCE and it seems that doesn’t like the template having minify and compression settings, when I removed this template setting the editor appears fully in the front end and all works fine 🙂
