I have kindof same problem. I also 755 folder and 644 the file. Sometimes works for acouple of times then stops or just goes round and round. I get error on page message.

April 27, 2007 at 1:46 am #218991I noticed in my case, if I have http://110ers.com I get the error message from attachment. BUT if I have http://www.110ers.com it works fine. 🙂

On IE7, instead, it doesn’t work. (I installed release 1.1)I got other ajax component but they’re not published on frontpage.

For the novices out there….
1. Go to Joomla Admin.
2. Go to Global Configurations.
3. Go to Server tab.
4. Change File Creation to 0644
5. Change Directory Creation to 0755
6. Make sure to check off “Apply to Existing Files”It should work afterwards,
