I noticed that on some computers my main content is dropping to the bottom extending the page and leaving a lot of white space above where the main content should be.
After refreshing to browser a few times, it jumps up in to the correct location.
I have tried setting the default font size to various settings but it still happens.
It seems to only happen in IE 6 and on my monitor the rez is: 1680×1050.
I have attached an image so you can see what’s happening.
==========SOLUTION=========
I had a module in the left side bar that presented a random quote. I created a custom CSS rule reducing the width to 148px for that module and that solved the problem.Thanks ShannonN for your reply.
===========================Thanks,

April 14, 2007 at 4:54 pm #217946Just wondering if anybody else has encountered this problem.
I really like this template. I have it installed on two sites but both are having the same problem in IE.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.ShannonN FriendShannonN

Thanks,
MikeProbably related to the weird settings on your monitor as well as I.E 6
try setting your screen to a more traditional 1600 x 900, 1600 x 1024, 1600 x 1200 and see if it still does itCheers ShannonN
April 16, 2007 at 2:25 am #218006I can try that but I have had several friends with all kind of different system/monitor configs and it happens to them too!
I don’t have a problem if it was only my settings but I can only imagine that many other people are having the same problem with my site.

I’m sorry I misunderstood and thought you were referring to your own viewing in general, my mistake.
I don’t have I.E 6 on my system to check with having upgraded to i.e 7 ages ago to try to get some form of compliance 🙂
I’d suggest viewing the wistery demo in i.e. 6 and seeing what happens with JA’s version, check the source code against your source code? Sorry out of ideas
Cheers ShannonN
