I have installed Mageia (for J!1.5) template on J!1.5

Main Main menu, and other menus in left position looks like this:

I would rather like it to appear like in the demo:

Is this a bug of some sort, or there is obvious solution that I don’t see?

    Regards

Try setting the menu style to “list” in the menu module parameters.
If there is nothing in the module class suffix you can try “_menu”.
Otherwise I looked at the readme and bug report and didn’t see anything about this, so I can’t be of more help. Good luck.

Try clearing the _menu suffix and leaving it blank.

    thanx again for trying.

    i found it eventually…

menu style should be set to legacy-vertical

in the end maybe just a suggestion to joomlart team to put this somewhere in install notes (template guide), to save someone elses time in the future.

@instantinlaw thanks very much for your time also.

    Hi!

I want the menu to look like Avekic had in the first place.
Like more normal and more “clean”
Is it possible to change the default menu look to like the one he showed first?

    PS,
    I use joomla 1.0 not 1.5….
