Erik is saying it is simple to add ‘user menu’ to main menu. I checked backend. There is no such option.

No, he meant you can move all the menu items from usermenu to mainmenu
Menu items are as the contents of mainmenu or usermenu which are considered as menutypes
Oh!.
Well that might work. But all the user menu items (atleast 6 in number) will show up horizontally in navigation bar after main menu items. This would not give a good aesthetic appearance.
Is there a way to get all the user menu items as a drop down menu from one main link ‘user menu’ in navigation bar. For this i have to copy all the URL’s of user menu items and put under one global item say ‘User menu’ and add it to main menu as a link. IS it right?
thank you,
Ok, trying to give an example here:
HOME – CONTACT US – USER MENU – NEWS – WEBLINKS
sub 1…………sub 1…………..your details
sub 2…………sub 2. ………..submit news
………………….sub 3…………..log out
This is an easy way of setting this up. This way you have the “user menu” located INSIDE the main menu, and the drop down with USER MENU is only visible for people that are logged on ( as long as you in the selection make these as “registrered only” for access level.
I hope this made some sense to you?
Erik,
I think i got the idea.
thank you so much.
Hung – thanks again for helping out. Good luck with next template.
