lease can someone tell me how to get rid of the RSS link in the footer? I believe it is connected to the mega menu. I do not want it to sit on a line on its own, so I either need to move or delete it, and do not know where to locate the code for it.
    Thanks or any help

    Sarah

    Hi sarsells!
There is a “footer.php” file – as well as footer css rules within the template.css file.
You might consider removing the RSS feed that is assigned to the footer position if available.
Hope this is what you are looking for!

    Hi
I have looked at the CSS and the footer php and still cant quite figure out what to do. I have added a screen shot. Looking with firebug, I see this code
<a class=”mega haschild” href=”/index.php?format=feed&type=rss”> Rss appears within its own span. It is this that I want to change/get rid of.
    Thanks again

    Hi sarsells!
Have you commented out that code to remove it entirely?
    Thanks!

I am confused why you can not find the code as you posted the above message earlier.
FireBug will tell you exactly where the code is coming from.
Here is a great link on how to use FireBug!

Sorry, but sometimes I find all of this very confusing. I have looked at the link you sent. I know how to identify an element. As far as the CSS goes, that is easy, it gives line numbers and the file name. But I do not see that within the HTML side of the panel. I dont know what file I am looking at?

    Hi sarsells!
Have you looked in the index.php for the block of code as well as the footer.php?
    Thanks!
