    Hello
    Using Ja RAVE

I did a big mistake and upgraded joomla from 1.6 to 1.7. and now the website gives a 500 error. But shows when I change template.

Problem is, my Ja rave is heavily modified, and it will take ages to modify all over again.

    A) Is it possible to upgrade my customized ja rave?
    B) Or is it easier and possible to downgrade joomla 1.7 to 1.6 again so that my template works?

    Thanks

If you use the JA Extension manager your changes should not be lost. First thing to do though is upgrade the JAT3 plugin using the JA Extension manager and see if the 500 error goes. It may not even be the template that is causing this error, it could be a different component. Try that first and if that fails get back to me.

Pleasure. It is still worth going through your components one by one and making sure they are all up to date. Test thoroughly between each update just to be 100% sure everything is working as it should before you move onto the next component.

With Ja Rave 1.6 installed, I upgraded from 1.6.6 to 1.7 and this fault comes on the front-end

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home1/amsecco1/public_html/templates/beez_20/index.php on line 122

I have installed the latest T3Framework. Any suggestions?
