I wanted to understand how to install the quick start and know if my content will be lost.
If they are not lost …..is there anyone can install the quickstart for me (paid)?
If are lost …. there is someone (paid) may give a setting like the demo but whith my content

May 2, 2011 at 9:55 am #389394Hi,
I see you have a site ready, using Joomla and JA Teline. Now firstly I want to know why do you want to use quickstart? Secondly, when you setup quickstart, it’s exactly same as setting up another joomla so you will be creating a new database which will be used for this. If you give same database details as your current joomla then your data may be lost due to tables override in installation process.
If you want to add more functionality / different template then install only those extensions in your current website instead of using quickstart.

I can not play the same functionality in the mega-menu and in the various modules
as in the demo on your site.
Not that it’s difficult but I can not understand and read your guides in the English language.
So if anyone can do it for me, I’m willing to pay.
I would also give a background image to my site but I do not know which css file should I change and understand what folder to put files source

May 2, 2011 at 12:26 pm #389417Hi,
You can find body.bd #ja-wrapper in your template.css and specify background to it. It will apply the background images where you can see the white space right now..
In your Joomla installation, when you access it from FTP, go to yourjoomlarootfolder/templates/ja_teline_iv/images to place your image. Go to ourjoomlarootfolder/templates/ja_teline_iv/css/template.css to apply the image as background to the wrapper..
If you cant find it, please let me know, I will do it for you..

May 2, 2011 at 1:28 pm #389431Hi,
I have changed the style in template.css line no. 22 from <blockquote>body#bd {
background: #fff;
color: #333;
font-size: 12px; /* Base Font */
line-height: 1.5;
}</blockquote>
to <blockquote>body#bd {
/*background: #fff;*/
background: url(“../images/container.gif”) no-repeat fixed left bottom transparent;
color: #333;
font-size: 12px; /* Base Font */
line-height: 1.5;
}</blockquote>You can make changes here if you need to change it further..

May 3, 2011 at 2:00 am #389516I wanted to know if this extension
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/photo-gallery/11426
is compatible with the model jateline
I use this in some articles … in this way
{gallery}mio percorso{/gallery}
but no longer works
I thought it was the plugin jathumb to create problems but also uninstall the extension does not work
So I ask if I can do something similar with the pligin jathumb or if there is another way to get the same thing.
If set plugin jathumb in manual option and insert in the article
{jathumbnail}miopercorso{/jathumbnail}
might work?himangi Friendhimangi

May 3, 2011 at 4:53 am #389536Hi,
JA Thumbnail does not work like a gallery. It creates thumbnails in joomla articles.
To display images in gallery format or such, you can check

May 4, 2011 at 5:54 am #389721I did not get your question.. If you mean how to show them, please refer to Teline IV userguide at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-teline-iv-userguide/ or other related guides in JA Teline IV forum.

May 9, 2011 at 6:46 am #390338Basically the box is appearing there because you have Home menu set to display featured articles and you must not have any articles marked as featured.
Making the box transparent will not be a solution since, when you may actually have articles there, the transparent background may look weird. You will need to change the menu item to show something else or you can hide the box for home page only, modifying the code in respective block.
I have not done it before but it wont be very hard..
