I’ve got a phpbb3 forum inside a wrapper page running Joomla 1.5.1. The page only displays a section of the top then stops if viewed used Opera. I’ve also tested IE, Firefox + Safari which all work.
The phpbb3 forum displays fully outside Joomla (not wrapped) so I think it has something to do with the wrapper…any suggestions?

March 26, 2008 at 2:22 pm #243231Same problem here, with SMF 2.0.3b. Maybe its by the changes made it with joomla 1.5.2. But, my problem is with all the browsers.
Source code of the error:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.latingamers.net/modules/mod_janewsflash/ja_newsflash/ja-loader.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.latingamers.net/modules/mod_janewsflash/ja_newsflash/ja-scroll.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
if (!self.jaNewsflash) {
jaNewsflash = new Object();
}
jaNewsflash.animation = 'effect_fade';
jaNewsflash.livesite = 'http://www.latingamers.net/';
jaNewsflash.delaytime = 10;
jaNewsflash.splitter = "97c8730aa693f60439cf3cf4558ce5ea";
jaNewsflash.interval= 1000;
jaNewsflash.currentItem = 0;
jaNewsflash.totalItem = 1;
</script>
<div style="position:relative; width:100%;height:120px; overflow:hidden;">
<div id="ja-scroll_1" style="position:absolute; top:0; left:0; width: 100%; display:block;"><script type="text/javascript" src="
Then, nothing.
Also, the guy who delete all my post, did the same with some more information. The poll´s results has the same behaivor.
By other hand, I didn´t forget of my request. Everyday I´ve checked this forum and it seems that none help here, even when I´ve sent PM, e mails, etc.

forum to be wrapped: http://old.latingamers.net/forumMarch 29, 2008 at 11:05 pm #243584Mmmm no good. I really wanted to have the forum within a Joomla wrapper but if it prevents people viewing if and no-one seems to have a fix then I’ll probably have to move it to outside Joomla 🙁
cheers Fudge

March 30, 2008 at 8:03 am #243598I think that the problem can be a conflict of forum software. Because the wrapper of Fagus works well with wrapper of other page.
marcebarcelona and fudge, please PM your J! admin and FPT account for further investigation if it is convenient.

March 31, 2008 at 7:28 am #243712The forum and the rest of wrapped things were working before 1.5.2
As you can see, polls results doesn´t work either, so it can´t be the forum software.
ftp and admin information was sent it by pm.In JA. Koniga, the wrapper works well. Maybe this can help you to find out the problem.

March 31, 2008 at 2:42 pm #243760Very pleased to see you have got this solved…you can now see how difficult it is to give support on non JoomlArt products. 😉
Keep up the good work your website is coming on very well.
Fudge if this is not the same error as yours I would suggest you renew your post
April 1, 2008 at 1:09 pm #243917Actually it wasn’t the same but I did get inspired to try something which seems to have resolved.
In the basic parameter for a wrapper it has height which I had set at 100%…other browsers seem to accept this but I set it to 1000 and it now seems to display.
Thanks all….much appreciated
