November 30, 2011 at 10:33 am #171279I don’t have a great deal of time to write a long testimonial, but I wanted to feedback on a few points.
As background – I used to be a developer member until last year and whilst I recognised that JoomlArt was the best Joomla Template club around, I used to have problems working with Joomla and JoomlArt templates. I would always run into problems caused by permissions issues and so on, preventing me from uploading extensions or configuring JoomlArt templates properly.
Recently I have switched hosting to a provider specifically aimed at hosting Joomla sites and all of my problems have disappeared – as if by magic! It’s not that my old hosting wasn’t good – it was (and I was paying them a lot of money), but it’s just that it wasn’t as finely tuned as it might be for running Joomla websites – and especially JoomlArt templates.
I recently purchased a membership for three licenses and I’m using Minisite, Tiris and soon to be using Methys. These sites are in various stages of development – but they look absolutely amazing and my clients are very, very impressed with the quality of the work.
My advice is to make sure you’re with a great host that absolutely and specifically caters for Joomla websites. With one great hosting company that wasn;t finely tuned for Joomla I ran into all sorts of problems configuring JoomlArt templates. Now with a host that caters specifically for Joomla (and WordPress and others) I have found JoomlArt templates to be a pleasure to use – whereas with my old host they used to be a real pain to configure!

Might you share which web host you have found with whom you find yourself as satisfied as you say?
Always helpful to provide information and resources for others who may experience similar issues as you. -
