I am trying to add an audio player from Gabcast.com in a module on the homepage. You can see the site I am working with at http://www.theblind-guy.com . Gabcast is an audioblogging service, and this is the main way my blind friend will keep his readers up-to-date. Gabcast provided the following code:

    <object classid=”clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000″ width=”300″ height=”300″ codebase=”http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0″><param name=”movie” value=”http://www.gabcast.com/mp3play/mp3player.swf?file=http://www.gabcast.com/casts/11914/rss/rss.xml&config=http://www.gabcast.com/mp3play/config.php?ini=full.0.l” /><param name=”wmode” value=”transparent” /><param name=”allowScriptAccess” value=”always” /><embed src=”http://www.gabcast.com/mp3play/mp3player.swf?file=http://www.gabcast.com/casts/11914/rss/rss.xml&config=http://www.gabcast.com/mp3play/config.php?ini=full.0.l” allowScriptAccess=”always” wmode=”transparent” width=”300″ height=”300″ name=”mp3player” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” pluginspage=”http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer”></embed></object>

I tried inserting this inside the module in html view, but after a brief loading time, nothing shows up in the module. Now, I am a coding dunce, but I can follow directions. Does anyone have any idea why this would not show up (I am trying to get it to show under the Audio Blog module you will see on the page) and maybe a work-around? Gabcast has some help info at http://www.gabcast.com/index.php?a=info&b=faq . Thanks for any insight you might have.

Go to Site>Global Configuration and scroll down and tur the WYSIWYG editor to No wysiwyg editor. then go to modules>site modules>new and add the code.

I will give the Raw Content Component a shot. Thanks for the input!

I am using the HTML Source editor of TinyMCE and it has worked fine in the past for HTML. Right now it displays the code

<a href=”http://www.gabcast.com/casts/11914/rss/rss.xml” target=”_blank”><img src=”http://www.gabcast.com/images/feed-icon-24×24.png” border=”0″ alt=”RSS Feed” /></a> <br />Click to Subscribe to The Blind-Guy Audio Blog<br /><br />The <a href=”http://www.gabcast.com/casts/11914/rss/rss.xml” target=”_blank”>Audio Blog</a> is a great way for me (The Blind-Guy) to keep you updated. All I have to do is dial a phone number, record my thoughts, and hang up.  The audio is available instantly for you to listen to. Enjoy!

just fine in that Audio Blog module position. I am wondering if there is some code in the style sheet that is interfering with the code from gabcast? or maybe in the index.php file.
