I’d like some clarifications about how/which CSS files are loaded using the JAT3 framework.

Basically I’m using a heavily modified Bussiness8 template, with the latest JAT3 plugin.

My “issue” is that I have tons of CSS loaded and most have the exact same rules in them, making it very confusing to do changes since I have to look around in 4-5 css files to find what I want.

I’m basically trying to find a way to not have duplicate css and just keep the template css, instead of having the default jat3 profile css also loading, while still keeping the ability of using the jat3 themes feature.

My website loads these at this moment:

    plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/addons.css
    plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/layout.css
    plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/template.css
    plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/usertools.css
    plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/css3.css
    plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/menu/mega.css

    templates/business8/css/typo.css
    templates/business8/css/template.css
    templates/business8/css/menu/mega.css

    templates/business8/themes/more_contrast/css/template.css
    templates/business8/themes/more_contrast/css/menu/mega.css

I found out that plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/css/template.css and templates/business8/css/template.css were almost exactly identical, thus I had loads of unneeded rules loading twice.

From what I understand there are 3 things here:
1)The template css stuff, that are generated from the use of the bussines8 template
2)The jat3 ‘default’ profile, which for me seems useless since I already have all the css on the template css
3)The jat3 theme, which I kinda understand how it works and I can remove it easily (so not much of a problem)

    Thanks in advance 🙂
