November 7, 2012 at 12:54 am #182006I understand from reading other posts this may be hard to discern from the attached image, so a visit to my site may be required:
http://www.toucandesign.netAll K2 Items are in a sub category, mostly different from one another (ie: web design, graphic & print design, printing, etc…) and “Inherit parameter options from category” of the main category, Graphic Design.
That is where the mystery comes from… all sub category images in the photo wall should appear at the same resolution, but are not.
Please review the below image, I have highlighted the issue images which appear in sequence, but this is not always the case by hitting “CLICK TO LOAD MORE PROJECTS” will yield others with the same issue peppered through the additional photos.
I do have my quality set at 100% and other settings can also be viewed in the attached images.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

November 28, 2012 at 2:51 am #474476Hi toucandesign again,
As I can see from your site, each image in 4 marked ones has: http://www.toucandesign.net/media/k2/items/cache/fc34f61d23b74be53ee07d469bd32064_XS.jpg – means extreme small size
While other normal images have: http://www.toucandesign.net/media/k2/items/cache/19f9cefdfb07230a68581d617885a3af_M.jpg -means medium size.
please ensure that:
– You have correctly setup the settings for the desired category.
– You have not messed up the settings inheritance.BTW: I have not receive your site login credentials yet.

November 28, 2012 at 4:08 pm #474547Thanks Saguaros
I reviewed those settings and don’t see any issue.
I also tried to delete and replace one of the entries with the low res thumbnail on the wall and it came back blurred again (I cleared all cache). I then created the same entry (same exact data) but using today’s date as the creation date (I was trying to set the item to an earlier date so it would be back in the correct year) and it displays ok!
I then decided to change the creation dates on any posts for 2009 to either earlier or later than 2009 and they display fine.
The test item currently appears in the first position in 2012 “Quality First Builders Sales Kits” and also in 2009.
I sent you a PM with your credentials. Major mystery. Please let me know if you need anything else to review.

November 28, 2012 at 8:46 pm #474592CLICK TO LOAD MORE PROJECTS (previously CLICK TO LOAD MORE AWESOMENESS)
Shows previous years:: Apparently 2004, 2002, 2001 were a bit blurry as well 😉

November 29, 2012 at 2:55 am #474643Hi again,
I try to configure so that all images have small size but it doesn’t change, so weird :((
Please go to cache folder contains these images like: http://www.toucandesign.net/media/k2/items/cache/fc34f61d23b74be53ee07d469bd32064_XS.jpg and delete all of these 4 images.
Then re-configure for categories and upload images again.
Give it a go and let me know what’s going on.
Regards.

November 29, 2012 at 6:12 pm #474738Hi Saguaros
I did delete all that was in that cache folder and it had not effect. Please let me know of any ideas. The same exact issues seem to be there even after re-uploadng all the item images.
For anyone reading this, don’t delete em all like I did or you’ll have to re-upload everything that is in your K2 items. 😮

November 30, 2012 at 3:24 am #474766Hi again,
The problem came from the configuration in home menu item: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/734/2893471298.png
Previously, you set Image size for link items with XSmall size so those items had diffent dimension, I set it with medium size and it seems ok now.
Please check it again and confirm.
Regards.

Had no idea there was another image setting in the menu item. Thanks for finding it!
