December 4, 2016 at 5:11 pm #992043Hi there,
Since today AND AFTER AN UPDATE OF T3 some of the items of the menu site are not accesible (403 error even for the Super User). No wonder what group access they have: registered, public, guest…
Seems a template/megamenu problem because:
- Changing the template solves the issue
- Changing the JA University T3 default style for a modified one (main difference: modified style has no sidebar) ‘solves’ the issue
Any help on this, please?
Thanks in advance, Fernando.

December 4, 2016 at 6:03 pm #992044Additonal lead:
When no module is assigned to position sidebar-1, the site fails to give access to the whole menu item. When at least a module is assigned there, the site works fine again.

December 6, 2016 at 10:57 am #992558Yes, that is because the item you are using has a modified style of the default JA University T3 template, which has no sidebar-1 position declared!
Please login first into the students area: http://pruebas.railinspain.com/index.php/acceso-a-la-web
Then proceed to one of the items which use the JA University default style, for example: http://pruebas.railinspain.com/index.php/materiales/biblioteca
As you may see, the only difference between /materiales/biblioteca
and /materiales/audiotemas
Is that the former has no module published in sidebar-1, and the latter… it has.
So the thing is for some reason, when sidebar-1 is void the web outputs a 403 error…
Thanks again!

December 6, 2016 at 11:40 am #992571Hi
If i login with Super user i can access site : http://prntscr.com/dfzkwn
Besides the access level for the home menu is :http://prntscr.com/dfzlcy
Guest and default access level of your site is Public
You have to check your site access level , i can see there is a lot of changes in the ACL: http://prntscr.com/dfzm8aKindly check the User access level and permission on your site, the error indicates permission issue on your site .

December 6, 2016 at 11:54 am #992572I could swear that I did no changes to the ACL Groups. One more lead:
Default style DOES work for guest users even if no module is assigned to sidebar-1: http://pruebas.railinspain.com/index.php/quienes-somos
So: Modified style (with no sidebar position and thus) with no sidebar-1 module works always (no surprise)
Default style (including sidebar position) with no sidebar-1 module:
- Works for guest users
- Does not work for registered users :-/
Besides: the error started to occur just moments after updating T3 Framework to 2.6.2 (Version date 30/11/2016).
Maybe I should try to rollback the T3 version. If it works maybe it would have nothing to do with permissions. Am I right?

December 8, 2016 at 8:15 am #993146Hi,
This is not a bug from our product. I changed with the configuration below and hope my explain with help you to understand the problem on your site.

Ja University T3 – Default template style and Home layout: http://prntscr.com/dgs75e. It does not load the main component block from this page(single article): biblioteca page
- I created new ja_university_t3 – otherpage template style and default layout and assign it with biblioteca page: http://prntscr.com/dgs6gp. Now you can see this page is working fine: http://pruebas.railinspain.com/index.php/materiales/biblioteca

December 9, 2016 at 2:06 am #993281Hi,
I created the new custom layout with the mixing home and default layout and you can see the ja_university_t3 – Custom template style with custom layout is working as well with this page: http://pruebas.railinspain.com/index.php/materiales/biblioteca
Regards
