I am trying to install the jatabs & jaslideshow modules, but as I follow the instructions in the JA Quartz 1.5 Userguide, some things are different on my end.

For example, to set up the JA Tabs , i select that module in the module manager, and under module parameters I should select position JATABS….but I don’t have that position in my backend.

I did not install the quickstart, and I’ve already made some changes on my site. Should I install Quickstart and if so how do I do it as I have not been able to in the past.

This site is an addon to an existing site, has Joomla 1.5.10 already installed….can I even install Quickstart still?

i think if you just manually enter the position name in the dropdown it will activate

Thanks for your advice…sadly it’s not working for me. What is happening is that I can only see the JASlideshow in position jaslideshow when I have the JA TABS enabled and set to position user 5. In user 5, I see the text:

{jatabs animType=”animNone” style=”” position=”top” widthTabs=”120″ heightTabs=”30″ width=”100%” height=”auto” mouseType=”mouseover” duration=”1000″ colors=”10″ view=”fulltext” type=”articles” catid=”10″ }{/jatabs}

When I change JATABS to any other position my jaslideshow disappears.

I’m using joomla 1.5.9 and JA Quartz (not the quickstart)
