Hello, I use joomla 1.6 and I like to set up my template like how it looks on the demo site but seems some of the module positions dont work when I assign the module. such as: ja_tabs1, mega, mega5, ja-news-2, ja-news-3 etc… please help?

Hi mehmetcesit

it seems not working because you have published other modules in that positions that override the other positions

in other words

take for example the ja_news-2 position well in that position is located the Ja_news_pro module linear layout actually in the

state of unpublished if you unpublish the Ja_news-pro module default layout located in the position ja-news-1

then the ja_news-2 position become active this is the same for the ja_news-3 position for pulse layout and the other positions.

I am sorry but I really didnt understand it. I have checked all thiese positions they dont work or show the module, all of them are empty there is no override or anything. They just dont work can you please just do it by yourself the moduel that says latest news and most read at the ja_tabs1 position. Or can you try to do one of mega position one with anything you like. thanks
